We are from MA, and we visit our daughter and her family every year. Wood Ranch is one restaurant that completes our list of favorite places to go. The food is excellent, and the "shredded onion" is our favorite anticipation!

good atmosphere, so-so food
The Caesar salads are good here. Steak dinner looks like something you cooked at home, fat on the side, a clump of potatoes and no garnishing. Service is very average. Seems you need a marching band to get noticed during happy hour unless you're right at the bar. Always busy, can't figure that one out. Ambience is good. Really one of the only nicer resturants in Camarillo.

The best BBQ in town!
Great food, great drinks, a great night (meal) out! Be sure to try their ever yummy onion strings, and incredible mashed potatoes (truly incredible). They do NOT take reservations, but the line moves quickly. Well worth the wait! Fine to take kids, nice kids menu. Staff is so good you wouldn't think they were swamped!
