Wonderful!
What a wonderful find. Everything about the Wine Garden Restaurant is excellent. From the nice waitress Korrie, Chef Ramos, and owner Julie Nord. To the food, we had a nice group of 9 and we wanted to try everything, but we narrowed it down to the seafood platter and every bit of it was MMMMgood. The seafood gratin and shrimp hushpuppies are to die for. Chef Ramos knows sauces, I can't describe how good they are you have to try for yourself. The fried okra was not greasy at all and you can taste the okra, garlic bread excellent. Everything on the seafood platter was so good we started to order another to go back to the bay area with us. I can't stop talking about it. So go, as fast as you can, and make sure Korrie is your waitress.

Wine Garden Restaurant and Wine Bar, an innovative restaurant that offers a sustainable approach to agriculture for both food and wine, recently opened its doors, and wines in Yountville offering regional American small plates and the finest of Napa Valley wines. Unique to the Napa Valley, the bar elicits a tasting room atmosphere, while the main restaurant exhibits the talents of Chef Francisco Ramos with small plates of American regional cuisine. The produce comes from farmers such as Rancho Gordo and Longmeadow Ranch who share Nord's commitment to sustainable agriculture. Ranging in price from $5 - $13, recent small plates include, Grilled stuffed quail with bourbon barbeque sauce; Hoppin' John, Smithfield Ham-wrapped venison loin is served with mustard spaetzle and huckleberries; and a Cover Crop salad features greens themed with those found growing the vineyards. Children’s palates are accommodated with a selection of all American favorites.
