Highly Recomended
The Best bar and restaurant that I've been at since I transfered to chicago from seattle. I like homemade beers and theirs just excellent. the ambience is just superb. After a days work its just nice to just hang around the bar wherein bar tender treat you like a special guest plus you get to meet people that shares the same sentiments.
Recommended: try their beer buffet and all in one appetizer

Great experience
Four of us went to Walter Paytons for dinner before attending a play at the Paramount. It was our first time there. We were gratiously seated and our drinks, appetizer and dinners were served in a timely manner. The food was great. The bill was reasonable and the whole experience makes us want to return. Thinking of bringing the family for a celebration dinner after graduation this year.

Very Bad Experience
I was there on Friday 6-20-03 for dinner with friends. I got totally soaked, I mean drenched, from a FULL tray of beers after the waitress dumped her tray on me. My one shoe, belt is ruined, watch, pens, cell sticky from the homemade beer there. The assistant mgr. said to give her the cleaning bill for shirt and pants and she would take a round of drinks off the tab. Dinner was well over $100.00. I would have expected a cut or free dinner after an experience that ruined our whole evening. We ate there almost monthly but never again!

Excellent place to eat or drink
I was in Aurora for 4 days, and was at Walter Payton's Roundhouse every evening for a drink and dinner. If you go to Aurora, you must visiting Walter Payton's Roundhouse.
