my girlfriend and i usually go once a month for the all you can eat crab legs on friday nights. dinner cost around 25 drinks and gratuity. the food is never impressive except for the crab legs, the pastry desserts (that probably come pre-made, and a potato pizza they stopped serving for some reason. the roast beef is over cooked, the pasta is terrible, and the garlic veggies are wayyyyy to garlicky (and i love garlic!).

i'll explain why we'll never go there again. it was not busy, and we were served by a new waiter. he never came to clear our plates or give us any refills. we waited about 20 minutes for the bill when finally i decided to speak to the manager. NOW I REALIZE ONE BAD WAITER, ESPECIALLY A NEW WAITER, SHOULDN'T SHAPE YOUR VIEWS ON A RESTAURANT. I'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE AND OUR PREVIOUS WAITERS HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC.

HOWEVER!, i went to the manager (a shorter woman with glasses whose name escapes me at the moment) and asked for our bill. she said 'right away sir'. ten minutes later she sent our waiter to bring it. there was a mistake on the bill, so the waiter said sorry and went back to correct it. another 3 minutes went by and the waiter dropped off the bill.

i went to the manager to discuss how horrible our experience was. she said 'the waiter is new, so that's the problem', i asked what happened to some of our previous waiters? to which she replied 'they went off to get real jobs'. finally i said this was our worst dining experience ever and we will not come back, to which she replied 'i hear ya'. not once did she apologize, or offer any kind of compensation.

i can excuse the new waiter, but attitude and competency reflect leadership. that manager was even worse then the waiter!

DO NOT EAT at this restaurant, if you want all you can eat with an italian them, drive the 20 extra minutes to frankie tomatoes in markham.
