Good start
There just aren't enough vegan restaurants in the world, so it was wonderful to find Vegan Terra. The food is affordable and tasty, and it's the kind of place I occasionally take my omni friends to, but I don't visit alone very often. The food is good, and much tastier than trying to find a vegan option at am omni restaurant, but there are few variations. Many dishes, but most of them recycle the same few ingredients and rely on being covered in their "special sauces" for flavor. I generally eat here when I'm in the mood for something less-than-healthy, as many items are fried or covered in the aforementioned sauce. There are some "fresh" options, though, but nothing worth the price of the dish. My biggest qualm about eating here is the owner. He's always there, and he really rubs me the wrong way. Rather abrasive and loud, and gives you the "are we speaking the same language?" look if you don't smile and nod at all his comments. There's an outdoor patio that you can eat on if you want to get away, though! The ambiance is akin to a coffee house in a strip mall (they're located in a multi-level shopping center) but this isn't the kind of place you go to for ambiance. My hope for Vega Terra is to expand their menu to include more variety, give their dining space a little decor, and hire a kinder wait staff.
