This tiny Hollywood restaurant serves Thai food with a lot of atmosphere. The interior is dimly lit by small lamps, television sets silently blaring cartoons or bad movies, and the glowing green eyes of the dragon built from scrap metal. The walls are plastered with rock posters, strange sculptures, odd pictures, and other random stuff. There's even a five-foot paper-mache mask. Some tables are short -- you sit on the floor to eat. They also have booths and regular tables. Toi attracts a trendy Hollywood crowd, and rumor has it that famous people eat here. It can be difficult to get a table here on weekends, and it doesn't handle large groups well. Toi also has a location on Wilshire Boulevard.
