Omg..I'm grew up in Mar Vista & lived in Venice, and Palms. Now live in San Jose Ca. From the time I was just a Litlle girl Going to TiTO's TaCo's was my favorite, However we used to go to Johnny's Pastrmi's & that was the Bomb too.. But, TiTo's was always my favorite. It's funny actually I'm here posting this because I have been craving it soo bad and i wanted to findout if there was ANY Place that could compare to TiTo's Here, In San Jose? I have lived here for the past 4yrs now, recently returning to Nor Cal after living in Oregon.. So Cal will always be Home to Me? Leaving Venice High in the late 80's, That area was just a awesome place to live,. TiTo's is a landmark to ME. I'm in my late 30's now,(Scary to admit???), But the best memories I have are when it was summer break, playing outside with my friends, (thats what you did growing up in Mar Vista)- those were the days?? Video games were for rainy days Or when u were Grounded HA?? We Did'nt have InterNet..."Old school"days long gone...But Mom would Yell out "Who wants TiTO's?" and we were RUNNING to the car?? I have Friends still in the area, and when I get back to the HOOD, I have To Have My TITOS FIX...It's just a fact? Anyone that grew up w/ it Just KNOWS what I'm talking about?? right?, Its the BEST? I wish I could order it and have it Shipped to Me here? Totally would?...I keep trying to find something here that compares to TITO's TACO"S but theres NOWAY? I had No clue that they have actually been in the area down there so long? I never knew they were on Centinella back in the day? I am reading here that they were open back in 1962?? that blows me away? I wasn't even born yet? I Hope that they Never change a thing? The lines are long yes? But it's soo worth it? I cant to come back and get my all Beef buritos and tocos with cheese, and dont forget all the salsa you can pour and green guac.. I LOVE TITOS.. Everything is a 10... this time I'm bringing it HOME frozen.. ( wish i could bring my tupperware for the salsa too)..

I'm 59 years old, and I rember going to Tito's Tacos as a kid at the Hamburger Handout corner at Centinella and Sepulveda. I'm not sure when they moved to the corner of Washington & Sepulveda, but they were there in the 60's. I think they moved to their current location in the 70's. My favorite is their salsa, tacos and burritos. It's hard to find anything more delicious at any price. Their recipie hasn't changed in all these years.

Best Mexican food period. Although he is long gone I remember the owner well - he was always there with a smile on his face. Can anyone remember if Tito's wasn't first at the International food court on Sepulveda at the Airport Village adjacent to the Hamburger Handout? I grew up in Westchester and Playa del Rey and I've been taking family and friends to Tito's for the past forty seven years; everyone raves aboutthe food which is always as good as you remembered it should be. We still eat at Tito's as many times as we can whenever we are in L.A. My favorite meal includes 1 or 2 Tacos with cheese, a Bean, cheese and Meat Burrito plus a cheese enchilada with meat sauce or a tostada - always with extra salsa on the taco & tostada!

I Love Tito's Tacos! It's Simple The Best. Everytime I'm Hungry Or I'm Craving A Taco, It's Tito's For Me. I Personally Love The Tacos With Cheese. Yummy Best Darn Tacos In The Whole World. Oh And Lets Not Forget Their Guacamole. Terrific. I'm Not Really A Burrito Lover. But The Burritos From Tito's Are Great. Specially The Ones With Cheese. Yummy!

Titos tacos is unbelievable!! I love it sooo much!! I started eating there when I was in high school, but moved away when I was 22. Now, I am 37 and I still love it as much as I did back then. Everytime I'm in California I eat at titos. nothing compares. My favorite is a bean and cheese burrito and a taco with cheese. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water, can't wait to be there again! Love ya tito!!

Everyting at Titos is great I have been eating there for about 20 years..... there also used to be one in Anaheim, but they changed names, however the food is still exactly the same as it always has been. The location in Anaheim is now called Tom's Tacos and is located on the south west corner of Beach and Ball. They have a plate special which is only $3.25 with a choice of tostada, enchilada or taco and rice and beans. At the culver city location you have to order everything seperate but it's still resonable prices.

The lines are always long, but the food is worth it.  I like the beef tacos with cheese.   Very cheap...only $1.80 per taco.  Comes with chips and salsa.  Only cash is accepted.  Highly recommended.

Simply Good
Beef Tacos (with or with-out cheese, Burritos all meat or with beans, rice and cheese (a combination burrito). A few other menu items Tamales, Enchilads to name a couple are part of the Mexican Fast Food genre that has become familar to most of us. Tito's is not as innovative as a Taco Bell or Del Taco. Tito's presents good/familiar food at reasonable prices in festive(crowded?) family environment. Try it, you may like it.

Quality Mexican Food
I live an hour away from Tito's, but since my friens introduced me to it, we make frequent trips there... When we have to make the choice between driving five minutes to get La Salsa or Taco Bell or an hour to Tito's, nine out of ten times we pick Tito's, and never once have we regretted it.

Tito's is the Best
I've been eating at Tito's since 1962 at the old location. I hope they never change their tacos and burritos. Everytime I go there I know exactly what I'm going to get. Since I don't live near Tito's anymore I only get to treat myself once in a while which makes it all that more special. Must be great. The LINES are there all the time every day for years and years.

Still the same
I had my first Tito's Burrito about 1960. They were located on the corner of Washington and Sepulveda at the time. Their menu was very simple; tacos, meat burrito, bean burrito, tostadas, rice and refied beans. Back then the tacos didn't even have cheese on them. I can remember people asking for cheese on their tacos and getting a blank stare from the people behind the counter. I moved away from the area in 1977, but whenever I'm there I try to stop in. The amazing thing is that after all this time, everything still taste just as great as it did in 1960.

The Tito's Habit
I used to live 4 blocks from Tito's and though I was sceptical of the food my first time, I quickly grew addicted to their tacos. Granted, it is not a traditional taco with soft shell, but combined with the salsa and the creamy guac I am convinced that there is something in the food because I could it there everyday of the week. UNBELIEVABLE!

I lived in Culver City all the years of growing up. My Mother introduced me to Tito's when I was about 10. I graduated from Culver High School, in 1967, and unfortunately moved to Oregon, but whenever my husband and I are in the area, we make sure to stop, and bring several containers to bring back the salsa. The best tacos and meat and chesse burritos anywhere.

Tito's is the best fast mexican food.
I moved from the area and I really miss Tito's:( Their bean and cheese burritos, tostadas, guacamole, Mexican rice, salsa and chips have great flavor. Their salsa is wonderful. Great prices, too. :) I don't eat beef or chicken but people love their beef tacos too. I wish they would open a Tito's near Woodland Hills.

THE best taco stand in LA
This is a staple of every person that has grown up in Culver City over the past 40+ years. Over the years their tacos and burritos have been frozen and flown across the country to those of us who miss it so.
