It was 9 of us, we knew the wait was going to be long but this is a place we really enjoy, we were in for a surprise! After waiting for the manger, he told us the wait would be approx. 30 mins. we waited for more than 50 mins. and noticed groups as big as ours were getting paged before us, I went and asked the hostess and all she said was 'oh, I'm sorry we skipped your name, you'll be called within 5 mins.' well we ended up wating for an additional 15 mins. there was no apology from anyone else, we really felt like leaving but by this time it was pretty late to go anywhere else. We are really having second thoughts about going there again, I really hope they find a way of IMPROVING their system!

The wait here is way to long and the wait to get your food is even longer. The atmosphere is nice and the price is pretty reasonable, but the wait is too extensive. And, the food was not worth it either.

Can we say overrated?
In my humble opinion, NOTHING is worth this much of a wait for a table, I don't care how good the food is. And in this case, the food is mediocre at best. I have been many, many times to Cheesecake, not by my own volition, but because I didn't get to choose the restaurant. I try to keep an open mind every time, but alas, I end up reverting to the original opinion I had from my very first visit. I think the problem lies in the fact that their menu is simply TOO extensive. With this many menu items, how can they possibly maintain consistency and do every one well? You are pretty safe if you order a sandwich or a popular signature entree, like the marsala. However, venture too far beyond, and you may be disappointed. I didn't think I was too in danger when I ordered the crab cakes on my (definitely) last visit. But when I received the mushy, gummy, still cold in the center, with not enough crab to merit the name crabcakes, I realized I had strayed too far beyond the ordinary. Call me un-American, but I also object to menus with so much advertising in them. Forget the mixed drinks, too. Ridiculously overpriced with absolutely NO bang for your buck. That Raspberry Lemonade with Chambord and Citron Vodka? Yeah, it's just lemonade you taste. If you ask me, don't wait for the entree, and just get what you really came for: order a piece of cheesecake to go, and eat it in the comfort of your own home! I may be in the minority in my opinion of the Factory, for legions of loyal customers keep it a two-hour wait, but I myself would much rather go elsewhere, eat quicker and eat better.
