Overpriced
I have a feeling the owner wrote the last review. I visited "that pizza place" tonight for the first time. I walked in and instantly felt like the place was dirty. I went to order my pizza and the employee looked horrible, greasy hair and all. He took our order for a large 2 topping pizza and when we asked for 2 drinks with that he said we would have to walk around to the bar. Now we had to make 2 completely different transactions to get our dinner. There's also a $5 minimum credit card transaction, so the pizza covers that but then you have to pay a fee to get your soda! After we paid $18 for our pizza we found out that soda has no free refills. I couldn't believe a place in "that pizza place"'s condition would charge $1 per cup of coke. When we did get our soda it was flat-ish and we almost took it back. I saw the same greasy haired person who had taken our money for the pizza starting to make our pie. From where we were sitting we could see the kitchen no problem. The employee handled our money, came out and washed off the salad bar, then went back to making our pizza ALL WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. While we were waiting we could hardly hear each other. The booths and tables have no separators and the vaulted ceilings cause the sound from every single table to be amplified and travel about. Once we got our $18 pizza I could tell the cheese and sauce were cheap, it reminded me of when we used to make boboli's on a budget at home. The cheese had that cheap cheese flavor and the sauce had NO flavor. It wasn't even tainted with sugar like Dominos. All in all I give “that pizza place” 2 thumbs down. If you decide to go to that pizza place, rethink and go to that other pizza place.

You'll never be disappointed! Hometown Restaurant
We have been going here since as long as I can remember. This is the place that when you go there, chances are very good that you will run into your neighbors or friends. We have friends that live in Oceanside but frequently eat here because the food is great and it's that same pizza place environment that we grew up with, but our society has pretty much lost it somewhere along the way. Its loud with music and tv's, games for the They support not just youth sports but many things in our community. My daughter grew up celebrating sporting team events here.

This is one of the best pizza joints I've ever been to. The food is great, the atmosphere is laid back, the prices are reasonable and the salad bar is even kickin'. Two thumbs way up
