Telly's Taverna is Greece
The first thing that strikes you about Telly’s is that virtually everybody who walks in is greeted like family by co-owner Nana Loiselle, or "Nana" , who often greets her adoring public with a bear hug. Before you even think of ordering a main course, spend a good amount of time on Telly’s appetizer list. Dip the warm bread that has just been delivered to your table in a sampling of dips—taramosalata (fish roe), tzatziki (yogurt and cucumbers) or kafteri (spicy feta cheese). The grilled octopus is perfectly cooked and seasoned and swims gently in olive oil and subtle seasoning. Or splurge on an order of saganaki, an addictively sinful fried cheese. One thing is certain after eating at Telly’s, Nana will have a harder time getting her arms around you on the way out.

Great Greek
Take a good look at the grill on your way in and ask the chef what's fresh -- undoubtedly this will be one of several varieties of seafood, all of which are delicious. These are served simply grilled or in almost any way you like. The french fries are fabulous as are the other side dishes.
