What An Unexpected Find
My friend and I drove up to Pittsburg-Antioch and we're both unfamiliar with the area. We realized we were in a neighborhood with various Mexican food choices and we unexpectedly made a lunch stop at a very small strip mall. There was a line at Taqueria Viva Mexico so we made the assumption that the food must be good because the locals ate there. Boy, were we right! I had a chicken tamale and a chile relleno; my friend had a steak quesadilla. If my two items hadn't been as delicious as they were, I would have snatched that quesadilla away from my friend in two seconds flat because hers looked so tempting. She confirmed it tasted as good as it looked. The booths were clean. Staff was friendly. Food was excellent. Would highly recommend....
