Restaurant - Chinese, Indian, Pakistani

Spicy, sweet and savory Chinese food made to Indian tastes. Note: in reverse of usual menu practices, their menu has stars only by the dishes that are NOT spicy. Spicy chop suey anyone?

Great Food..Great Service
The food and service were both excellent. Restaurant operated by owner/chef and his family. Friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is a bit too cozy but they are planning on expanding. I would go there again...

Excellent and Flavorful
I've been looking to go to a Chinese/Indian restaurant after hearing about this fascinating mix of flavors awhile bag. When I read the article in the news I knew I had to go. Well, I went and I loved it. The service was friendly. A true blend of the flavors was Chicken Tanga Masala. Although on the menu as fish, the staff was happy to make for me. The two worlds collide with this dish. I completely enjoyed my lunch and looking forward to going back and trying something different.

Chinese like in Inidia .. emmmmm
Tasty food just like found in Delhi. Yes the place is small, often packed, sometimes long time to wait, difficult to find parking but all worth it as food is excellent.

Delicious food, terrible place
There is no question that the simple dishes served here are absolutely delicious. Just about everything is spicy so don't go if you can't take the heat! The biggest problem with this restaurant is that it is extremely small. The tables for 2 are the size of a pizza box. To make the problem worst, many people decide to have their annual family gatherings there which easily takes up 75% of the tables in the restaurant every single weekend! Weekdays are better.

Amazing!
Go there whenever you want. Whether its a busy weekend or a dead weekday. Food doesnt take long to bring out. Appetizers are pretty good. Main dishes are beautifully spicy. Desserts are scarce but anything sweet after all that spice is sufficient. Small, cozy environment. Big smiley service. Everything's Halal in case you're Muslim. Around $12 for a main dish, $5 for an appetizer, and $4 for dessert. About $25 per person (without tip) THIS PLACE IS A MUST!
Recommended: Goat Chilli (with gravy) !!!!!!!!!!

good food
While taking my family to eat, I drove by Tangra Masala and being an Indian thought it was good. In fact, I waited in line for half an hour. People told me that this food was the best and that if you eat this food you'll never want to eat in some other restaurant. I did get a seat and enjoyed my meal. Nice music and good waiters. I really loved the food and am going back all the time..
Recommended: lollipop chicken, salt and pepper prawn ect..

Left a bad taste
Our whole family started going to Tangra as soon as it had opened about a year ago. We’d generally had decent experiences until then. I took some family over there one night and after having called in 35 minutes ago for a table and being told that the total wait was around 30 minutes, we didn’t expect to wait more than 10-15 minutes. After waiting about a 1 ½ hour, we were seated between the restroom and the cashier so every time someone passed, they bumped into us. We tried ordering appetizers to begin with, and were told very rudely that we had to order whatever we wanted all at the same time and they were not going to take another order for food since they had other people waiting for the table and if that was not good enough, we could leave since they could seat another party. When we started going there, we thought of the place as a nice, decent family owned place but after being personally embarrassed in front of family & friends that night and hearing similar stories from other people, I think the success of the place has to their head and I think the only thing that these people have there anymore is a BIG EGO.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE,VERY RUDE STAFF.
WE ORDERED A PICK UP AT 5.00PM ON A SUNDAY EVENING. DECIDED TO HAVE THE DINNER THERE WHEN WE REACHED TO PICKUP THE FOOD AT 5.30PM. THEY WOULDNT SERVE THE FOOD JUST BECAUSE ITS ALREADY PACKED. WE WERE ASKED TO DO TO DO EVERY THING ON OUR OWN BY THE WAITER NAMED KENNY. HE WOULD NOT EVEN LET US TAKE A TABLE OF FOUR IN SPITE OF THE RESTAURANT BEING 80% EMPTY. FINALLY WE PAID FOR THE FOOD AND JUST TOOK IT HOME. VERY RUDE STAFF AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Recommended: MANCHURIAN, FRIED RICE ARE GREAT.
