Super Mex is great for the price....food is pretty decent considering your plate is created and heated within 10 minutes! You can't expect much from the service...everyone is an illegal immigrant and can barely speak English. Luis Z used childrens' or deceased social security cards so that all his family can work there....so I've been told....so yeah food is great...after u explain what u want a few times...it would be nice if they would let American and African Americans to serve there but it is highly for egotistic illegal spanish speaking men only or ugly hoochie girls.

Good food and service. Bad day to go is on a Friday evening. Sometimes the wait is more than 40 minutes.

We have tried all the Super Mex Restaurants in the Long Beach Lakewood area.. the food is ok...not the best mexican food. We no longer go to Super Mex, every one we had gone to atleast one of the people in our party would have a HAIR in their food...we never said anything and we did try a few times at each restaurant..but NO MORE..Taco Bell is better

Outstanding Mexican Food - CHEAP!
Super Mex is a family owned restaurant that has been giving us outstanding quality Mexican food at low prices for years. A good example of the value are the daily specials they have posted on the board as you walk in. A recent special was two enchiladas and a taco, served with rice and beans for $5.99. The quality is excellent and the portions are huge. A+ A+ A+
