I have been eating at Matsuhisa's since shortly after Nobu first opened his doors in Los Angeles... he now has several restaurants in NY, Las Vegas, Malibu... I think maybe Paris and Tokyo, yummmmmm
Sinsu is right about the Chilean Sea Bass, what she doesn't mention is the delicate truffle sauce it melts into... the gently seared ginger ahi sashime salad, tokobushi... from simple plebians with a palate to the rich and famous... people who live in Paris or London make Matsuhisa a must stop when visiting LA for good reason... food doesn't get much better and the service, ahhhhhhh. Trivia... the director and cast of Memoirs of a Geisha craved Nobu's cooking so much - he has a small part in the film and the preparation of several of Matsuhisa's most famous dishes are highlighted in the special features on the DVD
