If you ever around Sherman Oaks area, Ventura Blvd, you should check out Natas Pastries. It is the only Portuguese bakery in LA that not only do they have the best pastries but also serve typical Portuguese finger foods such as "pasteis bacalhau", cod cakes,"rissois", made of shrimp and crab, "croquetes",made of ground beef and Portuguese chourizo.
The most famous pastry and the one I am hooked on is the nata. It is pastry shell made of puff pastry and filled with a type of custard like a creme brulee. It's just Heaven!!!
