Good Food is worth more then Gold

I love to eat..doesnt matter if it's a dive or a 5 Star resturant.  I believe you can find good food anywhere.  Thats why it bothers me when I find bad food. I think some people dont care enough and it shows.

I love Kabuki.....What can I say.  It's got all the important things a Japanese resturant needs: Freshness, good deals, good Saki.   And heck of an oyster shooter (Includes raw quail egg)

I like the Spur.  However if your not with a regular ,you wont get the best service.  I have been going forever.  In regards to the food, I have not had a bad meal there.  Frog legs are excellent!  I think with the Spur, it has been around for so long that the old timers with $ are there prime VIP.   If you dont go with someone they know personally or look to young...well lets just say you dont get taken care of or noticed....as well as you should.    I love it there but I dont expect great service all the time.

I use to go as a child and decided to return not that long ago.   I was sorely disapointed with the food.  For a steak house, the cuts of meat where nothing to brag about.  I realize it's suppose to be authentic chuckwagon food, however when you can open a can of beans and get a cheap piece of meat  and sliced white bread at home why pay for it.  The service and atmosphere is still great but the food is nothing to bring me back.   I believe just because it's beans, doesnt mean that you have to make it taste like homeless food.  Spend some time to make it just a little better and it makes a world of differnce.  The part of the resturant is the ties on the wall and watching the cooks BBQ your steaks.

This is a great place to go feel like you have been going for years.  The atmosphere is relaxed which makes it perfect for a stress free cocktail and excellent Nachos.  I highly recommend them, fresh everything: Avocado, chicken, cheese ETC.   Also there Shredded beef in anything is sooo good perfectly seasond and I have never found any fat in the meat ( that is a huge plus for me).   The only problem I have ever had there is when the bill comes, they always make a "Mistake"  so you gotta keep on top of that.  I regular there quit often, so obviously that has not been such a problem that it keeps me from going. Love the place!

I have had sooo many donuts from allot of areas, from Ohio to Northern California.  Nothing comes close to Donut man.  It is the only donut that does not feel like a load of lard in your stomac and make you feel completely sick and regret eating it.    Also it is the only donut that seems fresh even when there a day old.  It shows that great fresh ingrediants make a huge difference even when it comes to somthing as simple as a donut.  The foodNet work even complimented them in the past.  Kudos to making a favorit even better for all to enjoy.
