Well I really don't have a good story about myself but I have one about my husband. We were walking out of the Texas Roadhouse the other day and he farted and crapped his pants, he had to ride all the way home with crap in his pants.

I have learned everything that I know from my grandparents that have been running a deli for 37 years now. I hope that someday when they are ready to retire that they will give me the option to take over since my mother and aunts are not interested in the business at all.

Well having seen my family run a business for years I can say that it is a bad idea to let anyone else run your business. They do not have the passion or the need to succeed and thus really don't care all that much about your business or your customers. I think that it is important to stay involved, it is okay to hire help but you will still need to check in and be active.

My family has a deli that they have run for 37 years and they have had problems like this in the past. What they have done is give them a warning and then the next step is out the door.

Tammy, I just wanted to jump in and say that there is money to be made in almost any business as long as you have the right business plan. The only thing that I can say about the food business is that it is a really tough business.
