From the website the Hyatt looks to be well located and has beautiful rooms. What are the prices like though in the restaurant, as compared with other restaurants? Would I need a second mortgage for a week's stay?

I think "expensive" is a relative term. When I go to LA with my other half we only order one portion and two plates - thus it is quite cheap!

Is your wife famous then Alex?

I thought I may catch one in Spago's or on my tour of Hollywood Homes but no luck there either! Perhaps I will hang around outside the Vanity Fair party at the next Oscars..........

That sounds interesting Alex - what would you recommend as the best dish? Are prices reasonable? If the price of the clothes on Sunset Strip are anything to go by, I do not think I could afford it!

Hello all

I have been to LA a couple of times and will be staying in West Hollywood for my next trip. I love Italian food -could anyone recommend any reasonably priced Italian restaurants in the West Hollywood area?

Thanks
