Business trip and looking for seafood, one member of our party had been to dinner here before with local collegues.
I had the salmon with sorrel, another the shrimp scampi, a third had the sole with mushrooms & shrimp. even the accompanying soup, salad & vegetables were excellently prepared and delicious.
Service was excellent, precise & unobtrusive as we discussed the results of our day's business; service was comparable to what I have experienced in Europe.
We hit the "early bird" window of 17:00 - 18:15 and with dinner, glass of wine, coffee & gratuity we managed to exceed our corporate guidelines @ about $33/person but it was worth it, we'll likely do sub sandwiches tonight.
One of my favorite places! I eat here at least twelve times a month--seriously! Wonderful food, delightful staff and very comfortable decor. Good prices during their early bird specials, too. Nice for a family dinner as well as a romantic date. Dining tables and booths have a sense of privacy that is sometimes hard to find at other restaurants.
