The owner/chef trained and worked in France and is also experienced with Chinese and Vietnamese cuisines. These other influences show throughout the menu. There is omakase (Chef's tasting dinner) for $60, reservations not required but recommended. Free off-street parking available after 5pm

Great
Everything is great, food and service, but the oysters are really small and way expensive. I`ll get a dozen (huge ones and really tasty) for almost the same price at Red Lobster.

Sato is the undiscovered Gem of NYC sushi!
I am hesitant to write this because I want to still get a table there, but Sato is the best!! Try the spicy tuna appetizer or the miso-lime tuna. Pretty much everything on the menu is original and delicious.
