Red Oak Steak House - El Cajon Restaurant

Awesome Food!
My boyfriend and I wanted to try Red Oak for a long time before we actually managed to get there. Were we ever glad we did get there though! The food was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Overall it was a most pleasant experience.

I love it!
I have also eaten there to many times to count. It has to be one of my favorite restaurants in the county. My wife, kids and I all love to go there. Never have had a bad experience, other than sometimes the wait is a little long when they are crowded. But where doesn't that happen at when there are big crowds! We also love the rustic ambiance of the place.

Come now; it couldn't have been that bad
I've eaten there at least half a dozen times, and the only thing "bad" about it was the food was so good and the crowd was so big that the wait was normally 45 minutes to an hour. So, unless management has changed in the last year or so, you must have come real early before the crowd scared off the cockroaches.
Recommended: BBQ Chicken was AWESOME!

First time use. I will never go again. Only two other parties in dining room. We were the first party and the last to get a waitress and order. Also, my husband ordered fries and a slice of fresh onion. He got mashed and no onion. Also during our meal we had two roaches, one on his shoulder and the other run across the table. Terrible service and the roaches...
