GROSS is the best way to describe Pink's hot dogs. My friends and I waited for around an hour to finally taste the famous Pink's. This seemed even more ridiculous once I tasted their nasty food. This place is a TOURIST TRAP and little else. I ordered a chilli dog and Coke. At least the can of Coke tasted good. The chilli on top had awful flavor and the hot dog was coated in a plastic wrap. It was like eating through a weird condom like cover on the hot dog. Why they make them this way I don't know. And what I really don't understand is why so many people enjoy them. Who knew there was such love for rubber hotdogs that take an hour to get?!? The wait doesn't make things much better. An hour wait and nasty food is not my idea of a good eating experience. Pink's has its many fans but the bottom line is that their hot dogs are the worst I have ever tasted. Stay clear of Pink's unless you're a tourist looking for the chance to see a famous person (which you probably won't anyway). Enjoy your rubber hot dogs!

THE BEST THERE IS
If you like chili and if you like hot dogs or hamburgers then you shouldn't miss Pink's. The taste of the chili is absolutely unique, and as the saying goes, you can't eat just one. The servings are generous, but one leaves you craving for more. On the other hand two takes its toll on your conscience, but if you don't go there every day, then go ahead and splurge, and just double your workout for the next couple of months. My dad used to take me to Pink's when I was a kid. I remember when a chili dog cost 25 cents. I live abroad now, and when I get to LA every few years, the first place I go to after unpacking is Pinks!
