Service Improves! Food remains outstanding!
We were also back to see if Pho 84 still kicked and it does. We went there three times over two weeks and had good and attentive service. The left-handed waitress was a bit distracted at first. Check out their week-end curry - worth the wait! Their imperial rolls are still among the best - light, crunchy with distinctive elements.

Great Food, Less than great service
I have to admit that their food is good, better than many Vietnamese restaurants in town. However, their services and attitude turned us away completely after going there for years. Not only the manager was not willing to compromise to substitude one item for a pregnant guest of our on one dish, their attitude was "go away, if you don't like it." Also, the waitress was rude when we ask for more water and things. With the type of service they give us, we rather go to some other nearby, yet good, Vietnamese restaurant than Pho 84. Avoid them, if you can!!!

PHO 84 is EXCELLENT
I first went to Pho's when I lived in SF wearing my, "oh, we'll see if it's any good" San Francisco face. Pho's is more than good. The meals are prepared in traditional style, fresh, reasonable priced and extremely tasty!
