Chef Paul and Staff - the Best
Celebrated my birthday with Chef Paul and the staff - only the best! The service is outstanding and very helpful. The mushroom pudding and lobster sausage appetizers were outstanding. The wine steward, Jason, is always selecting a great wine that compliments our meal. At last the dessert with bananas was one of the most awesome dishes I have ever had.

Amazing
This has become my absolute favorite restaurant. The menu changes about every six weeks, so there is always something new to try. The chef has a way of combining flavors that brings out the best of everything on the plate, and the desserts are incredible.

Super Experience - on a Chance
We were hoping against hope to walk in on a Saturday night without a reservation for our first visit to Olio, as our only other attempt months ago to call ahead for reservations was in vain - they were booked for all the dates and times we asked for. But the gods smiled and we walked in as the maitre d' hung up from a cancellation. We sampled the chef's creativity by asking for a vegetarian dish, choosing to have him build it around marvelous butternut squash ravioli. It arrived attractively surrounded with perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked vegetables - a very satisfying plate. The red snapper we also ordered was juicy, well seasoned, perfectly cooked and presented with a very tasty selection of starches and vegetables (the combination of which escapes me - overall impression was excellent). We did not have room left for dessert, a shame as the selection was wide and all looked enticing.
Recommended: vegetarian - ask the chef to create it

A Gem in the Suburbs
I have been recommending Olios to anyone who'll listen. I dined there last week and I was extremely delighted with magnificent food. The presentation was gorgeous but the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was super fresh and arrived hot out of the kitchen. We dined on the mushroom pudding appetizer with sourdough toasts and flavorful dressed greens that was delicately flavored. The textures were so varied that they all complemented each other beautifully. The sea bass was amazing, served with a fresh gnocci in mushroom sauce. Again, the flavor was incredible. The desserts were a perfect end to the meal. Although we were pretty full when it came time to chose desserts, we couldn't wait to continue our culinary treasure hunt. The service was fantastic, warm, friendly, attentive yet laid back. The atmosphere is sweet--very humble, clean but the star attraction is the fantastic food and charming chef who seems very enthused and interested in keeping his guests delighted.
