Smoking policy dulls good food
One this March night the outdoor area was enclosed and smoking was permitted, according to the waitstaff. We ate inside but were still affected by the smoking. The place is too dark to see the menu. It was a quiet Monday night and our party of five enjoyed full attention. Two of us shared and enjoyed the richly named seafood risotto and the bass smothered in chilis. Recommend the spinach salad and of course the signature dish -chocolate souffle - one is good for two.

Rack of Lamb was a delight!
After 20 years I'm still coming back for more! Is there another French Cafe in town? Why bother looking when you KNOW what you will get at the Moustache Cafe. We dinned last week with another couple who had never heard of this restaurant and they rated them an astonishing 10 out of a possible 10! We started with the fragrant baked French Onion Soup, followed by a fresh chilled tossed spinach salad featuring there own specially created dressing. The Rack of Lamb was cooked to perfection with a remarkable fresh chopped garlic butter sauce spooned over each slice of Lamb, this was accompanied by a delightful creamy potato algrauten. Even the sautéed vegetables were anything but ordinary. The only thing on my mind is how or when I will be able to make the trek back to Hollywood for another memorable dinner at the Moustache Café.
