As the first Japanese restaurant in Williamsburg it is still one that remains true. The cozy, friendly atomosphere has not changed despite their neighboring giant restaurants. The quality of the food is still on top. They have an extensive menu that caters to vegetarians. The food is not heavy and greasy like most Asian restaurants I've been to. Miyako is the only restaurant in Williamsburg that is kid friendldy. Keep up the good work!!

Miyako is the first Japanese restaurant to open in Williamsburg and I am one of its first and still loyal customers. Since then other Japanese restaurants have opened but it does not compare to Miyako's authentic food and genuine service. It is a small yet cozy restaurant that makes you feel like you belong.
Recommended: Try the dol sut bi bim bap and the volcano roll.
