Not bad
Food off the regular menu is so so; there is a second all Chinese menu available that has some decent entrees. I had someone translate some of the dishes which is more Taiwanese in style. I particularly remember a few good noodle dishes and a pressed tofu and pork dish. The staff is very friendly, if you ask about the menu and give them some guidelines (e.g. a spicy dish with pork and noodles), they're happy to describe the chinese menu to English speakers.

The food is excellent. Better word: tantalizing. It is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten, and I am a great fan of Chinese food. The restaurant is small and cozy, elegantly decorated, and with wonderful, friendly staff. There are so many good things on the menu, the hard part is deciding what to order! Another reviewer said there was "nothing to make the place stand-out". If it comes to that then no, it's not one of those fancy-shmancy places you go to feel rich and pampered. But it IS nice, and as a longtime resident who has eaten here all my life, I can say that it possesses a certain warm, neighborly charm that is so lacking in most "impressive" food joints. Expensive? Everything is these days. Think of it as a special treat for a special occassion, not as daily eats. And I must say, I'd rather spend $10 on great Chinese food than $20 on the so-so Italian you'll find at such acclaimed places as Buca di Beppos. So sit back, relax, and enjoy. Yum!

Really nothing outstanding here. Good food, good atmosphere, nothing to make the place stand-out. The food is a tad overpriced for what it is.
