The service was lousy, they were out of basically all the main entrees and with the drinks costing $3.00 each we were not even offered refills, by the way they were out of sodas and the glasses smelled fishy. To top it all off we left there with our clothes smelling like fried food. We visited from south Orange County no way will we ever do that again,

Los Angeles County mid-cities area is the worse place to find genuine soul food. Aside from the less-than-professional service, M&M's serves GENUINE soul food instead of the facsimile that you find at other so-called soul food restaurants. I think the quality of having genuine soul food neutralizes the bad service, but I also think that the customer service can be better managed to obtain a more-professional service environment.

The servers are slow and there is a lot of help sitting at the counter area. I feel they could serve the customer's better and be more friendly. I would not recomend it to my friends The portions are a good but the atmosphere is not. They share a restroom with the bowling alley the are adjoined with.

Love this place, you get enough food to eat and take a some home for latter or lunch the next day.
