We're from Dudley, Mass and were introduced to Luigis two years ago. Whenever we're in the Bedford area we HAVE TO stop at Luigis for the great food and service. Luncheons are served from 12:00 to 3:30 and if you don't mind the wait go at noon. We are smarter now, and we wait for the lunch rush to be over. My wife and I go out of way to have good Italian food anywhere in New England and we have to rate Luigis "The Best" at the lowest cost. Don't miss going there. We never do.

You can always count on a great and plentiful meal at Cafe Luigi. We have been eating there and taking out for many years. I always find it's better to eat there than to take out. Some times the take out is a bit scimpy but still great tasting. It's a great value. Price is right. Love the Fruit de Mare (hope I spelled it right) the best.

The food prep at this fine establishent is just excellent. Freshest salad I have ever experienced. A great dining experience. The most impressive food preparation I have ever seen in any bistro. Whoever prepares this food should be promoted. Excellent Excellent Excellent!!!!

I have always had a good meal here. The prices are so reasonable and the portions are very satisfying. I'm sorry to see that some people have had a bad experience. I will continue to go back.

Ambience: Neighborhood hangout, plastic table cloths Only wine and beer - and only what mass market likes Serviceable food, big portions, friendly, but *not* gourmet fare, *not* anything you'd find in Italy. Four sauces: marinara, alfredo, verdicchio, marsala recur in shrimp, chicken, veal versions. And the "parmigiana" for you fast-food freaks.

Gone Down Hill
I too was a regular at Luigi's. I used to refer the place to everyone I knew. Went there to get pick up and all the waitresses ignored me. No one wanted to do the extra work at greeting the customer at the counter. My food was the only bag on the counter sitting there getting cold. Spoke to Richard, the manager and handed him a letter. He failed to respond to my letter and has lost a lot of business over the last 1.5 years. Food quality has gone down as they have cycled through too many new chefs.

Amazing Place
I used to go there all the time, now I only go once in a while because I live far, but I love the place, especially the Calamari Scampi.

Great Food...Amazing Prices
My family and I found this treasure back in 1996 when I first started school in Boston. Wow, has it been that long? We've been going back ever since, and I've introduced dozens of family members and friends, all of whom love it. The food is great and the prices can't be beat. The Frutti de Mare is my absolute favorite. The only complaint I have is the lousy bread. The dough is pasty and it's always served cold. It won't stop me from going though!
Recommended: frutti di mare, Alfredo style

Great Food
Our waitress was like my mother. Caring, but had a job to do. She didn't miss a beat. Never did I have to look for her to call her attention to somthing. The food was more than good. It was authentic, abbondanza.

Good Food, Simply Stated
I've been going to Luigi's for almost 13 years and it's always the safe bet to eat when you can't figure where to eat in the area. Wish they served more than beer and wine, though.

Great Place for Inexpensive Yet Good Food
My family has been going to Luigi's for about ten years now and we're always treated well, the food is always great and the prices are just right for the average family. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for good Italian food.

Poor Service
I was a regular here, but the last time I went the chicken in my dish was undercooked - very pink inside. I sent it back, and still pink. Sent it back again, and the manager stopped our waitress and yelled, "It is cooked! It is just the lighting!" He was very angry. The waitress agreed that the chicken was not cooked. I have never gone back. A manager should know better than to treat a customer in such a loud and rude manner.
