At Last - Delicious and Authentic Mexican Cuisine in LA!

Ramiro and Jaime are the outstanding chefs and owners of this unique and friendly restaurant. Try their scrumptious "Chile en Nogada" or their exquisite 30 ingredient mole (featured recently in the LA Times Food section). Great Food and great people
La Casita is a gem. It offers authentic excellent Mexican food in a wonderful, and surprisingly small, (given the quality of the food), restaurant in Bell. I have eaten four or five of the entrees. I can recommend in particular the chicken mole, and pozole. Also well worth a try is the Nopal soup, which was a flavorful and absolutely perfect. The owners are always there and are dedicated to making the experience wonderful.

When you walk into La Casita Mexican in Bell it's as if you had been transported to Mexico...the festive music, the bright colors, the aroma of food being cooked, the pleasant service of its owners. And then you savor the food and you think you are in gourmet heaven. There is pumpkin flower soup, chiles en nogada sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, handmade tortillas, cool fruit waters and a heavenly flan. This restaurant has received rave reviews by the top food experts and they are deserved. Ramiro and Jaime are genial hosts and they are to be congratulated. They cook with "sazon" and lots of love. It's hard to find any tastier food anywhere in LA.
