Venezuelan Food
The place is nice. Very nice, in fact. The food wasn't THAT good. I was shocked to see the calamari in the paella breaded and fried. What Pedro said to this was that he catered to the American public and that is how they eat it. I don't think so. Americans are very adventurous just like any other culture. Serve things as they are supposed to be and people will try and enjoy it. The waiter was very nice and helpful. It's a bit pricey for the food.

Great Food, Average Service
The food was delicious but their server needed to take a communication class. He did not know how to respond in a polite manner. He made several mistakes and refused to admit to them. After he gave me my drinks I never saw him again. Next server I saw was very helpful and he brought my food and dessert. I asked him where my server was and his name they told me Mark. After this experience I'll eat again but I won't eat with Mark as a waiter.

Sabrosa!
The atmosphere at La Casa de Pedro was very nice. The restaurant has a very hip decor and good music was playing. It is clean and orderly. When we first came into the restaurant, it was not very busy, but once more people came to lunch, the mood picked right up. The food was quite delicious. If you do go to the restaurant, I recommend trying the Venezuelan and Caribbean dishes instead of the more traditional salads and Tex-Mex food. It is an adventure to try new things! The prices were reasonable. The total for my meal plus tax was eleven dollars. The waiters were helpful and were always at our service. Also, they were very handsome and charming. A plus!
Recommended: Pollo en Grasa (chicken w/ fried plantains, yuccas fritas, rice and beans), el flan de chocolate y coconut, mango fruit smoothie

Our Spanish Lunch at a Great Restaurant
I took a trip on tuesday to Pedro do Alarcon. It was beautiful inside and out. When we walked in the smell of wonderful food clashed with our cold faces. The food was great. I hope to go there again sometime. I recomend it to all. The food was served very nicely and the taste was addicting. The dessert was good as well.
Recommended: flan de leche, yuca, ensalada de raquel
