Unbelieveable food, but service is very shaky. I ordered a pizza and they charged me twice...once $18.06 & once $20.06 when I paid with a debit card. Also, I ordered a chicken tip dinner one night and they never delivered...they just never came and didn't return my calls after waiting for 2 hours! Both occurances were within a week of each other. It's probably best to "pick up" rather than opt for delievery...and always pay with CASH!

Best Pizza Around
Don't let the humble name fool you. This place has the best pizza you can find in Massachusetts. The owner explained to me that he uses ingredients that are superior to those of most pizza joints. For instance, he pays much more for a higher quality tomato sauce, and you can tell the difference. I'm from New York, and I know pizza.

Good Pizza, Not Really an Eat-in
I've had a number of dishes there. The buffalo chicken pizza is truly fantastic if you like that kind of thing. Slightly expensive at almost $17 for a large but the ingredients seem very fresh and the spice is not over powering. Sandwiches are good. On par or slightly better than most for the money, typically around $5-6. Atmosphere is very basic. 2 tables, total of 4 chairs.

I went to a friend's house in Medford and she ordered pizza from Joe's. I am definitely going out of my way (and I live in Boston) to order from Joe's again.

Not Just Your Average Joe
Just had another slice of pizza from Joe Pizza in W. Medford. I have to believe this is some of the best pizza in the area. Sauce is always fresh and crust is always perfect. More toppings than you could ever wish for. Also, steak tips subs are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Tasty, tender, and piled high. If you are a wings fan, you have to try these, hot and juicy.

Great food, but very poor service. I was accused of not paying for pizzas despite my proof with credit card receipts. Poor bookkeeping at this place, beware when ordering by credit card.

Terrific, Creative Pizza for Take-out or Delivery
Joe Pizza in West Medford, MA has simply the best pizza in the area. Great variety of toppings available -- everything's fresh and delicious. Consistently good.
