My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the food was good and the service was attentive, the overall attitude of the help at the restaurant was disappointing. I had a question about a charge for the use of a private room that night (wed night and the restaurant was not even half full). The restaurant decided to charge us a $120.00 room fee that I was displeased with as we had a group of 6 people and we were already speanding alot of money. As i already stated, the restaurant was ot even half full and they should have been happy to have the business not charge us extra. At any rate, when I question the charge, I was verbally attacked by the waitress and the manager on duty. Both were very unprofessional. On top of that, they charged us a 20% gratuity on the $120.00 room charge!
I will be calling the owner. My suggestion is to avoid this place for a private function.

Absolutly Excelent
The soups are masterpieces of cullinary art. The entrees are faboulous and will melt in your mouth. But the most wondeful thing are the deserts,they are fantastic. No words can describe this restraunt.

Never disappointed
My biggest problem is what to select...seafood? Game? Steak? They're all very well done, with plenty of imagination and creativity. The wait staff is always attentive without being overbearing.

Have dined at this award winning restaurant regularly for over 25 years. Quality, service and ownership have been consistent the entire time. Owner was a student of Georges Perrier (Le Bec-Fin, Phila). Superior creations utilizing seasonal ingredients, experienced staff, country setting, romantic atmosphere and easy (free) parking combine to make this restaurant the perfect spot for special occasions. There's no dining that can compete within a 50 mile radius. (Jacket and tie not required.)

This Restaurant Rates as a Ten
Have thoroughly enjoyed every different dish I have ordered. My entire family love the Green Hills Inn and their excellent food. We have never had anything to complain about. Most importantly, the quality of food and service are consistent. When we have important guests or business associates we don't take chances with just any restaurant, we only trust Green Hills Inn. Our favorite soup is jalapeno and we wish they would serve it more often. Our compliments to a great chef. The Blechman family of Mohnton, PA
