A Definite Contender
Now living a good hour away from Thornhill, it surprises my friends that at least once a month I still make the trek up to lunch at Golden Star. The family-run restaurant has an unparalleled atmosphere and cozy feel. The love the family has for the restaurant and customers shows in everything they do, including the rhymes they sometimes randomly create as they fix your order. The All-Star burger, homemade with original owner Frank Doria's secret sauce, is a classic.
