I tried this place once, I did not like it one bit, Sammys Woodfire pizza in downtown kills this place..

I've never eaten anything else from Filippis, but the pizza is the best. Whenever anybody in my family feels like a good pizza, we order from Filippis.

The best pizza I've had. I've eaten at the Little Italy, Veijas and Chula Vista locations. Always the same quality pizza, salads and lasagna. If you like a cheesy pizza, this one is for you. Make sure to bring your appetite, the portions are very generous.

Great Everything exept the Eggplant
I have been eating Filippis since I was a kid and the food is great. The service can improve a bit. I recommend you never order the eggplant parmigana. I felt like I was eating only bread...where's the eggplant? The rest of the food outstanding!
Recommended: Fit for a king pizza and the antipasto salad.

The Worst Service and Food I Have Had.
The pizza dough had the texture of rubber and the service and management was the worst I have ever experienced. How they stay in business is beyond me.

The Best Pizza in the World.
Real pizza at an affordable price. Made from scratch. Can eat it all year long. Simply the best. Thank you to those wonderful chefs and waitresses who do their best to provide us with a quality food. There are many more elgant Italian restaurants in town with more variety, but this one tops taste. This is true of all the Filippis in San Diego!
