Sure Pick - Great Dining Adventure - Super Value
The menu has full range, from vegan to fish to meat. All selections are well balanced and full flavored; many dishes have a surprising and adventurous twist. Chefs' palate is pitch perfect; flavor pairings are well matched and seasonal. Menu rotates monthly & with you'll have multiple 'top' choices to consider at every sitting - allows patrons to always have something new to consider and kitchen to have the experience to turn out perfect executions of fresh, seasonal dishes. Appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts are always a culinary adventure. Last night, for example, dessert included a frozen fruit terrine (the mulberry layer included fruit from the chef's household - fresh that day). The creme brulee included raspberries & chevre (richly sutle). For entrees, our table had Lake Victoria Perch (from Africa - the fish is very large so the fillet was like whitefish) while I had the BBQ pork shank. Decor is clean, colorful and fun (like Susur in Toronto?) Service is attentive, skilled fun. A wide range of friends & business partners, with a wide range of culinary comfort zones, have all been universally pleased with the evening's experience. An excellent value both for food & wine. A fair price for an excellent culinary adventure. The whole team works hard for your dining dollar. A sure pick. Bon Apetit!

Love it!
Food: Consistently good! The menu changes seasonally and there are often nightly specials. I appreciate the chef's adventurous take on his dishes. The spaghetti with veal meatballs are a must. My husband and I always split is as a pasta course before our entree. Service: The entire wait staff, front house, and chef are always pleasant. I never feel rushed at Fiddleheads unlike many restaurants in the area. Prices: The food is very reasonably priced and the wine is CHEAP in comparison to many area restaurants. This is a restaurant you can visit weekly/bi-weekly without breaking the bank. Their lunches are especially cheap and delicious!
