I have been decorating cakes out of my home for about two years now. I am looking into leasing a space to market my business. Right now I make cakes for friends, family, and people who have been referred to me. I really want to branch out, but it is such a big decision to make. I keep thinking what if my business fails. I have all of the support I need, but I am just scared to make the changes.
Go for it Kelly, because if you don’t you might end up wondering how it would have turned out. If you’re doing okay working out of your home then I would take the plunge. It might start off slow, but you never know. I would recommend setting up a solid business plan and a budget. I hope it works out for you.
I am like you in a way. I have dreams that I have a hard time turning into reality even though to do so would be so easy. I am learning to take the plunge and make my dreams come true. I hope you do the same with yours!
I would say that if you really want to do it Kelly that you should. You don't want to be left wondering like Lauren said. I have a dream of doing a business myself but I am waiting for the kids to get older before I put it into action. Best of Luck!
Thanks for all of the encouragement. I have decided to take the plunge and rent a space for my business. I have my family and friends backing me up also. I am taking it slow and have taken all the precautions when starting a business. I guess we will see how it goes.
