When I was in LA last I was too young to pay attention to the dating scene. Where do you think the best place to take a date is in all of LA?

Do you know what type of food your date likes? If it's a first date, it's probably best to go to somewhere you are familiar with. Otherwise, if you already know the person pretty well, a new place will be like a new adventure for you two.

Well I am married and my husband and I have date nights, so I would say that I know the persons taste pretty well. He really is a seafood freak! He loves all kinds of seafood and I thought that the next time we have a 3 hour layover in LA that I would try and take him somewhere nice to eat.

I haven't had a good experience with Cafe Bizou :( The atmosphere was off (usually some unrestrained child wandering around and crying), the food is cold and bland and its a little over priced...

Casa del Mar is a great place for high tea or drinks, esp. at sunset

Wilshire, on the patio at night, is my personal favorite

Typhoon is for that adventureous person - scenery is a small airport - so watch planes instead of yachts - and you can get bugs ;)

There are so many great places to eat in LA :)

Universal city walk is a nice place to go on a first date. My date took me there..lots of things to do.. Buca de Pepe for dinner ..bars and a big screen outside...and we ended up married a few months later. Third street and Promenade by Santa Monica beach is lots of fun too.
