I have never been to LA! What kinds of foods can you get there that you can not get anywhere else? I know that where I am that we have a lot of local favorites that you can not get if you get out of this area.
I am from Pennsylvania and I don't travel much! I have never been any further than Maryland, New York, Delaware, New Jersey, and West Virginia, that is about as far as I get away from Pennsylvania.
I am from pennsylvania as well Star, what part are you from? I am from the city and if you read my first post you may be able to figure out where buy the fact that I listed. Hope to hear from you soon.
I have never been to L.A either. However it is on my list of places I want to visit before I am 30. I watch the travel channel a lot and the restaurants look so nice. The food always looks amazing. Not what I am use to here in . I would spend my day eating and shopping.
Add another from Pennsylvania to the list. I am in Central Pennsylvania. The only time that I have been in LA was on a layover to Vegas and then again on a layover to Hawaii.
I am from Lansing Michigan, and I have never been to LA either. I would love to go since I have heard so many great things but I just have not traveled the much in my life yet! I am sure that I will get there sometime or another, when I am a little older perhaps.
I have been there once. They have a really good mix of foods. They the big chains like TGIFridays and about every fast food place you can think of but, they also have a lot of little cafes that specialize in all kinds of food like Thai and Japanese. There is a lot of Mexican food. I suppsoe the only foods you may have a hard time finding are Russian and German, that type. But, I'm sure that is there, too. Come to think of it, there isn't much in the way of downhome cooking there.
Wow there are a lot of people from PA on this site, that is so cool. I am also from Pennsylvania. I live out in the boondocks and really don't get out all that much. I have been to LA a few times but not only there for a day or two on business stuff.
