I have been to LA a couple of times and will be staying in West Hollywood for my next trip. I love Italian food -could anyone recommend any reasonably priced Italian restaurants in the West Hollywood area?
Hello Maya - I created at thread in the wrong section about an Italian restaurant on Sunset Boulevard. I posted it here... http://www.lunchspark.com/f/9/46
It's a pleasant Bistro, a few hundred yards from the Hyatt West Hollywood. Can't claim that it's anything more than decent but it was nice.
That sounds interesting Alex - what would you recommend as the best dish? Are prices reasonable? If the price of the clothes on Sunset Strip are anything to go by, I do not think I could afford it!
Can't remember everything that we had. I remember that I had a good Sea-Bass. It was more the atmosphere and the general standard. Prices were reasonable, I think it cost us less than $50 for a two-course lunch for two. This may have been a lunchtime special, of course.
I don't know how upscale you are looking to go but there is a great place that is called Angeli Caffe it is family friendly, if you have kids and the average price of a main course is about $15.00. I really enjoyed this the last time we were in West Hollywood which was about 4 years ago.
Sounds like a reasonable place to go to. I take it that this is the place on Melrose Boulevard. Next time we're in LA we will take a look as it looks like fun as much as anything. I like the use of the term 'Rustic' as well - good Italian food should be rustic.
