OMG, I just tried Wharo on Lincoln/Washington. It was great. The best korean beef west of western. My favorite part is that the restaurant doesn't feel sticky or dirty. Price is average for the westside, around $15/person. Will recommend anyday.

Gyu Kaku is near there and they have a way better happy hour menu. Half off meats and cheap Kirin. Younger vibe.

Kris, I just tried Wharo for lunch today, it was delicious.

Wharo isn't authentic Korean. That's like saying Panda Express is good chinese food. There is no substitute for k-town in LA.

I haven't tried the Wharo but you have got to give Shik Do Rak on Olympic a try is you haven't already. They have the best priced meats with all kinds of amazing side dishes. I make it a point to visit when I get out that way!
