I've decided to visit more food festivals (or any festival with food). I visited LA Tofu Festival in the Little Tokyo recently and it was fun. LA Greek Fest is coming soon (9/8/2006 - 9/10/2006). I plan to visit it for a day. Is there any other coming festivals in or near LA? I would also like to hear how your experience in these festivals were like.

Summer is the best time for festivals. I think there is one coming up for Venice in mid-September.

There are two festivals coming up at the same time in Los Angeles.
The 33rd Annual Los Angeles Korean Festival is from September 21 to 24. The festival web site is www.lakoreanfestival.com.
The 2006 Precious Cheese Feast of San Gennaro presented by Ralphs is from September 21 to 24. The festival web site is http://www.sangennarofoundation.org/cms/feastabout.php.

These are the times that I wish that I lived near or in LA. I would love to go to a cheese feast, I love all kinds of cheese and I bet that this would be a blast. Do they do wine tasting as well at the cheese feast?

According to the Feast of San Gennaro web site, it sounds like they will have wine tasting.
"Just like the 76-year old New York City tradition, the 2006 Feast of San Gennaro will celebrate Italian culture, entertainment and food and will feature live music, carnival games, street performers and strolling musicians in addition to wine from local wineries and food from Los Angeles' best Italian restaurants."

We have a lot of food festivals that take place about 1/2 hour away from my house. I love the one that is in West Chester that all of the resturaunts participate in and they close all the streets and make it a huge street fair, they also server alchol during this and it gets pretty wild.
