There is this really good resturant that I like to go to but it is about 1 hour from my house. Am I crazy to drive all that way for some good food or do others of you do this as well?

No I do not think you are crazy at all, if it's realy that great , knock your self out, I would do the same and i think i have. Don't you just hate that a perfectly good place is so out of reach but the crappy ones are just around the corner?

I have the same problem where I live. There is a crap shack of a pizza place around the corner from me and I go there just for convience but there is this pizza place that I love that is about 25-30 minutes away so I will take the drive.

I will not travel too far from home since I really do not have time to. I figure though that in the area that I live there really isn't anything different an hour away then there is 10 minutes away.

I would go wherever I have to in order to get what I am craving. I get these insane cravings for Taco Bell and the closest one to me is a 1/2 hour away and I will run then and bring it home if I want it really bad.

I mean good food is really hard to find sometimes especially if its something you are craving, go for it, I would totally go out of my way, I just won't leave the country, that is just too extreme, but I would drive to get my meal.

LOL! Yeah I agree with Tammy while I will also not leave the country to get something special I am willing to travel. Mentioning leaving the country makes me think of these cookies that my grandmother brings back after her trips to Holland, man now I will be craving them until she goes and gets back.

I prefer to just travel about twenty miles to my mom's to eat but, I would travel anywhere to eat. I love trying new things and love traveling so if anyone is buying, I will accompany you to Paris, Rome, Hawaii, China, maybe not Germany though, the food is yucky.

We drive about 35 minutes to this soulfood resturaunt we like.And the price is high too, but GREAT food you can't get anywhere else like it.
