Great Peruvian Food - El Rocoto
Searching through Peruvian newspapers, I came across El Rocoto in Gardena. My husband and I decided to try it and were very pleased. The service is great. The food tastes just like it does back home. The restaurant actually has Peruvian art. And best of all, they play Peruvian music! I loved it and strongly recommend it. Other Peruvian restaurants in the LA area don't come close to El Rocoto in Gardena. It's worth the drive. Seriously!

El Rocoto
Looking for a nice get a way with a tropical setting, you must go to El Rocoto. The food was excellent and best of all the desserts were irresistibly delicious. Right out of Mama's kitchen, especially their lemon merengue pie.
Recommended: Ceviche de pescado and Seco con Frijol.

Delicioso!
The best tasting food that Peru has to offer at prices that are very reasonable. It's a cozy restaurant that's been expanded due to it's popularity. It's nearby another famous Peruvian restaurant called El Pollo Inka. Mostly all of El Rocoto's dishes are better tasting and more flavorful than "Inka's" except for the chicken dishes. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is casual.
