Exactly What I Look For
The dishes are big. The food tastes great. The waitresses are nice and nice to look at. The upstairs patio gets sun and an ocean breeze along with an ocean view. The prices are very affordable. And Critters(North End) is right across the street. Bushman

Best Hole in the Wall Mexican Restaurant Period.
The food will never let you down. The waitress are fun and friendly. The ambience is a combo of South Bay / Mexico. If you never have been, Go! You are missing an opportunity

We love it!
After searching for a number of years after our favorite Mexican restaurant closed, my husband and I think we've finally found one we can settle on. You can find us there on a Friday evening at least a couple of times a month! We like just about everything we've had, and we love the salsa (after all, it's all about the salsa at a Mexican restaurant)! It's reasonably priced, good service, and great food. I agree about the patio -- if it's not too crowded we like to sit on the patio on the roof. It's hard to get a seat there, so arrive early!

El Gringo a locals place
While I do like the food at El Gringo, my favorite Saturday activity is to dine at the up stairs patio. The atmosphere is light and friendly with a great ocean view.
