Great Mexican Food!
Carlos is the best server there. Very friendly and gets to know the regulars. The food is wonderful with large portions (lunch for the next day!) and the price is very reasonable. If you like deserts, don't forget to try their homemade Flan! YUM!!

Tried making a suggestion to the owner and what happens?.......
My wife and I had been loyal customers for several years until we made the mistake of suggesting to the owner that the salsa was too hot and that it would be nice if they would offer a milder salsa to customers who might not like the feeling of having their tongues on fire. They totally disregarded our suggestion and further insulted us by asking if we had another credit card because the one I provided didn't go through.

damn im hooked on mexican food 4 lyfe now!
The food, the service, and the whole scene in the restaurant was amazing. I come from a family with many restraunts so I know what to expect and damn El Burro has it going on!!! I never used to like Mexican food and because of El Burro I know now what I have been missin! I would reccomend this to everyone!

It used to be excellent--must be new cook
It used to be my favorite choice to take my guests. Last visit was very disappointing. Won't recommend it anymore. Chili verde is tasteless; no chile but plenty of gravy. Crab enchiladas hidden in sea of gravy. Crab tasted like freezer burnt imitation crab. Cheese enchilada was stuffed with hardened, not melted, cheese. Chile relleno was not fresh, probably frozen.

This place is great! Authentic atmosphere, fabulous food and awesome service make for a great way to spend your dining dollar. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.

THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND SO WAS THE SERVICE. I WILL RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE I KNOW. THE CHILI COLORADO IS THE BEST I HAVE TASTED IN A LONG TIME.
