This is the neighborhood restaurant I missed frmo the East Coast
My husband and I moved from Philadelphia to Berkeley and gratefully found Doyle Street Cafe after a year of being in the area. It's been 5 years now and eating either breakfast or lunch at Doyle Street at least once a week is something we look forward to. Great food. Great people. It is fun to be lovingly harrassed by the wait staff while they deliver superior service--that means you MarWan and Pam. Thanks for all the laughs and great service.

The crab sandwich is to die for! The staff is fast and friendly and the prices are moderate for the lunch menu. My only complaint is that the other dishes I've had have been way too peppery. Too much pepper is not a good thing.

Quick and Friendly
The best thing at the Doyle Street Cafe is the service: quick and friendly, especially once you get to know the owners. The food is great, with plenty of vegetarian options (although I usually get the Reuben for lunch), and great breakfast selections.

My friends and I come here for breakfast almost every weekend. The food is great, and the people who work there are really fun and hardworking. And they serve Peet's!

Great Lunch Spot
This restaurant is very cozy and perfect for lunch. There food is very fresh and the atomosphere is friendly. I only wish they were open later in the day.
