A nice, clean neighborhood pub and restaurant. Everything from bar food and burgers to chicken, pasta, seafood, chops and prime steaks; appetizers and desserts too. The dining room is comfortable with plush green leather booths and banquettes to seat about 80. The walls are adorned with various antiques.

Returning from Kennedy Air Port we happened on Danny Boy's.Having gotten off Woodhaven Blvd.we found ourselves on Dry Harbor Rd. Hungry and thirsty. We ambled in.Once past a noisy bar ,we entered the dinning room and were greeted warmly by the host.At the time ,there was a young lady playing a familar tune . It just happened to be Danny Boy! WE were told that it was a tradition on Sundays that musicians would gather playing Irish melodys .It was enchanting, the lady whose name was Marina was exceptional. A beautiful voice,a charming personality.Ps. the pints of Irish stout and the food was also excepitional. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Warm and friendly, great food.Sometimes it pays stray off the beaten path. We plan to make it our own Sunday afternoon tradition.

Recommended by friends, we stopped in on a Friday night it was quite buzy. We were warmely greeted by the host Dennis, We explained that it was our first visit and perhaps should have made reservations. He replyed no bother, we are always happy to make new friends and found us a table. WE observed this friendly attitude as all were greeted and welcomed by name. We decided on the New England Clam Bake which we were told is featured every weekend. WOW , whole lobster, little neck clams, roast potatoes. corn on the cob.Fantastic.Service ,food, price,we found a new home! WE payed by credit card ,and were thanked by name .Hope to see you again ,Mr.and Mrs Fay.They most certainly will.

We recently were invited by friends of the family to attend a retirement party held at Danny Boy's. We had never been ther before, and did not know what to expect, as our friends are very paticular, they choose a buffet well, it was outstanding! The array of choices and the presentation, was equal, if not far superior to any we have ever had at so called upscale Ny venues. We were so impressed by the service, and the genuine hospitalty of the servers, and the host, we inquired as to the party options and prices, extremley reasonable, and have booked in for our anniversay celebration.

what a find! from the warm and sincere greeting from the host,to the friendly servers who actually know the menu this place has it together. The host, Dennis recomended the hanger steak, a specialty of the house, that was featured in the NY Daily News.Well it was dead on. Cooked to order tender, and full of flavor, served with there own seasoned fries and a vegatable medley. A choice of salad ,or soup came with the meal and a basket of house made Irish soda and brown bread. I took a loaf home.Great service, great food, and great value, My only complaint, the portions are enormous!

Great food and atmosphere
What a great neighborhood pub. A bunch of us have been going there for quite some time and it just keeps getting better. The food is great and very reasonable. They've got everything from hamburgers to filet mignon. They also have fresh fish, chicken ,chops and pasta and it's all good. You would swear you were in some bistro in Manhattan. Danny Boy's is not your typical Irish Pub.
