My Mother's Birthday Ruined
It is false advertisement to state that Cutillo’s is “Relaxed Dining At It’s Best, Committed To Excellence”. If that were truly the case, my family and I would not have been obliged to wait 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence at our table. Had I not sought someone to serve us, we probably would have waited over 30 minutes. That is unacceptable. Secondly, “Relaxed Dining” implies that children are welcome in such an establishment. If the motto holds true, then John Cutillo would not have been so rude as to interrupt our party and inquire as to how to quiet my niece. It is evident to me by his ignorance, that he does not have children of his own. If the Cutillo's staff were up to par with its service, then perhaps my niece would not have been so irritated with having had to sit in the same place for over an hour. To say that I am truly disappointed in my dining experience at Cutillo’s would be an understatement. I am a progressive individual and I make it a point to support family-owned businesses. It breaks my heart to see corner stores shut down because a super Wal-Mart opened its doors down the road. After having had to endure what my family and I had to, I now have a better understanding as to why some family-owned businesses do not survive. It is based on their lack of knowledge in how to properly accommodate to customers, whether they are local or out of town. To add insult to injury, after I addressed my concerns and disappointment with John, he never so much as even hinted to take the initiative to reconcile the issue by offering to provide something “on the house” as a gesture of good faith. I happen to dine out quite frequently and it has been my experience that when a customer complains (for any reason), the restaurant will do it’s best to placate the situation by taking something off the bill or even going as far as to comp the entire meal. Obviously the Cutillo's staff never learned the famous mantra, The Customer is Always Right.

Cutillo's is the most impressive restaurant outside of Philidelphia
I have taken my family to Cutillo's restaurant on several occasions, and it is definitely worth the trip for all of us. I am always impressed with the service, the atmostphere, and especially the food. Although, I wouldn't consider the restaurant primarily Italian. It is a fine dining restaurant, and Italian food is included in the menu.

Surprise Party at Cutillo's Restaurant on 08/02/2003
I hosted a surprise party at Cutillo's restaurant on Aug. 2, 2003 with approx. 100+ guests. The staff, the waiters, and waitreses did an outstanding job. They met and exceeded what I expected. I highly recomend this restaurant for any and all events. I will be dining and enjoying this restaurant and the atmosphere from here on out. The food was excellent, and there was a sufficient quantity of food. The timing could not have been better. Even as I continued to make changes as to the number of guests, Cutillo's was able to meet all my needs, even up until the last minute. The service was outstanding, and they all deserve a standing ovation. They (the servers) inquired of me throughout, as to my needs, and if there was anything else they could do. I wish to thank the owners John & Paul Cutillo, the executive chef Douglas P., the general manager, Linda H. and the entire staff who made this event one that my wife and I will remember for the rest of our lives.
Recommended: I highly reccomend the buffet for any and all events.
