We were so pleased with the service from the moment we walked in the door. The waiter was very helpful and the food could not have been better, will be back to try everything. The fact that the food could be so flavorful and not too spicy meant so much to me.
Recommended: aligator, soft shell crab, crabcake, bread pudding. It is hard to stop as there were four of us .

New Orleans in our backyard
I have been to dinner at Creola a number of times, and the food does not disappoint. Blackened Catfish, Jambalya, Hush Puppies, you name it, they have it and all wonderfully prepared.

If there is a distraction, it's the service personnel. Not all of them are savy about wine, which I admit is a pet peeve of mine. On two occasions that I brought my own bottle, they messed up removing the cork.

Overall, it's a great place to go out to dinner, and I highly recommend you do so soon.
